Mehran Safayani received his B.Sc. degree in Computer Engineering from Isfahan University, Isfahan, Iran, in 2002. Then, he received the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees from Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran, in Computer Architecture and Artificial Intelligence in 2006 and 2011, respectively. Since 2012, he is an associate professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Isfahan University of Technology. His research interests include machine leaning, neural networks and deep learning, pattern recognition and soft computing.
