About

f the Free State, SA (2017- 2019) and Rhodes University, SA (2016).

I am a reviewer of six high-impact national and international journals and a PhD thesis external examiner. I have supervised PhD students, with the first who graduated in 2019. I have several publications in high-rated academic journals/books with impressive high citations. Although citations are non-static, on Google Scholar, I am the second female SPU staff member with the highest number of citations (at least 640), despite being a "non-academic" staff member.

I have been an individual specialist and author for the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO), Paris. I have also been an independent lead research consultant for the Institute of International Education (IIE) New York on the SA Ford Foundation International Fellowship Programme. I have a track record of winning research awards, funding, and grants (up to $26,588.00 in my early academic career years).

I am proudly Nigerian by birth, Togolese by marriage and a resident of South Africa for over 15 years. I passionately contribute to local, national, and global policy, discourses and practices in education and multidimensional development issues. I have travelled to Lesotho (2011), Swaziland (2014), Zambia (2014), Botswana (2014), Germany (2017), the United Kingdom (2018), Italy (2018) and seven States in the United States of America (2019). I have been a member of BAICE, CIES, SAERA, HELTASA, DSA, EEASA ETC.

I have more than seven years of postdoctoral work experience, with a strong track record of research in higher education and sustainable development, particularly Education for Sustainable Development (ESD). I have used various innovative social research techniques and theoretical, methodological, and analytical frameworks. I have developed an in-depth understanding of my specialism to enable the development of new knowledge and understanding within the field.

I look forward to deploying my multidimensional potential in environments that allow limitless academic career progression and flourishing!
