Fürth Laboratory is a research group founded by Dr. Mirjam Fürth and is located at Texas A&M University in the Department of Ocean Engineering. We focus on numerical and experimental hydrodynamics with applications in naval architecture, wave energy harvesting, seakeeping, high-speed craft dynamics, wave downtime analysis, and aquaculture. The research of the Ph.D. student Ahmed A. Hamada focuses on improving the ocean current and wave energy harvesting through high fidelity numerical modeling.
