Assoc. Prof. Dr Azlin F. Osman obtained her PhD degree in Nanotechnology from Australian Institute for Bioengineering and Nanotechnology (AIBN), The University of Queenland. She is now Associate Professor at Faculty of Chemical Eng. Technology, UniMAP and a main researcher in Center of Excellence Geopolymer and Green Technology (CEGeoGTech), UniMAP. Her research interests are in the field of biomedical polymer, nanotechnology, nanocomposites, biocomposites and structure-property relationships of materials.
Study of the effect of surface treatment of kenaf fiber on chemical structure and water absorption of kenaf filled unsaturated polyester
Biodegradable and bioactive polymer-ceramic hybrid nanocomposite
To investigate the potential of thermoplastic starch (TPS)/sol-gel derived nano glass composite as new scaffold material for biomedical devices.
Effect of Surface Treatment on Mechanical properties , Thermal Properties , Water Repellency and Dimensional Stability of Kenaf fiber Filled Unsaturated Polyester Composites Impregnated with Nano –Zinc oxide
The works focus on fundamental studies of polymer nanocomposites and polymer biocomposites by using several characterization techniques and testing to meet targeted property profiles and applications.
