I am a research scientist in the Core Data Science team at Meta. Here, I work on optimization problems related to the company, particularly focusing on online learning. I obtained a Ph.D. from the Operations Research Center, MIT, where I was advised by Prof. Vivek Farias. My research there focused on two themes: a) Optimization for online platforms and b) Optimization for healthcare operations.
Prior to MIT, I worked at Deutsche Bank as a quantitative analyst in the Equity Trading team. I have also interned at research teams in several companies including Facebook, Target, Xerox and IBM through the course of my PhD and undergraduate degree in IIT Bombay, India.
