Larissa Costa de Almeida is a postdoctoral associate in Medicinal Chemistry at the University of Florida. She holds a PhD in Science (Pharmacology) from the University of São Paulo, Brazil. Her research focuses on natural products, cancer pharmacology, and drug discovery. She has published extensively and earned honors including the 2018 SBFTE and 2023 Capes Thesis Award. Her recent work on colorectal cancer was a finalist at UF’s 38th Annual Research Showcase.
