I am broadly trained as a landscape ecologist with a strong research focus on using remotely sensed data to investigate ecosystem processes at scales varying from plots to landscapes. Currently, my research is focused on agricultural systems where I use spectroscopic measurements (contact, proximal and airborne) to assess plant health and function. I use this information for stress detection and assessing plant nutrient status and metabolic rates to drive crop ecophysiology models.
