Project
Personalised management for acute exacerbations of COPD
Acute exacerbations are major determinants of COPD progression, morbidity, mortality, health care utilisation and costs. Diagnostic, prognostic and therapeutic strategies for AECOPD are suboptimal and remain unchanged for over a decade, despite significant theoretical advances in the subject. The aim of this project is to identify exacerbation traits and develop targeted treatment strategies for COPD exacerbations.
