David Beran is based at the Geneva University Hospitals and University of Geneva within the Division of Tropical and Humanitarian Medicine. Current projects include: - A global survey of barriers to access to insulin, the Addressing the Challenges and Constraints of Insulin Sources and Supply in collaboration with Health Action International and Boston University - Management of Noncommunicable diseases and Neglected Tropical Diseases in Primary Health Care (Mozambique, Nepal and Peru) funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation. - Addressing HIV/AIDS in indigenous populations in the Amazon region of Peru
