Fazlena Hamzah is a senior lecturer of Chemical Engineering and Deputy Dean (Student Affairs) of Faculty of Chemical Engineering and Head of Research Cluster for Bioprocess at Faculty of Chemical Engineering, Universiti Teknologi MARA, Shah Alam. Her research interests cover a broad area of Biocatalysis and Biobased Material Technology. She has been actively engaged in research such as enzymatic reaction and catalysis, material development, CO2 hydration, encapsulation and biomass conversion. Fazlena has published widely in fields of enzymatic hydrolysis, Co2 hydration using biomimetic solution, utilizing of biomass material into catalyst and also on the application of Malaysian natural herbs.
