Graduated from The Departments of Forest Industry Engineering (BSc), and Fiber and Paper Technology (MSc and PhD).

- Karadeniz Technical University, The Department of Fiber and Paper Technology as a Research Assistant (for about six years).
- Bursa Technical University, Bursa Technology Transfe Office as a University-Sector Cooperation and Project Supports Specialist (for about six months).
- Also studied in three different TUBITAK projects as a researcher.

- Production of pulp (cellulose) from wood and other lignocellulosics; Kraft and Alkaline Sulfite Processes.
- Papermaking processes; Kraft or Testliner for Corrugated Cardboard production and Tissue Paper,
- Mechanical, Physical and Chemical characterization of pulp and paper; Tensile, Burst, Tearing, Cobb and Crushing tests; optical tests such as Brightness, Whiteness; Kappa number, Viscosity, fiber characterization.
- Bleaching Technology of pulps from different sources,
- Production and Characterization of Cellulose Derivatives, especially cellulose acetates,
- Wood chemistry laboratory; Determination of wood consistuents such as carbohydrates, lignin, extractives and inorganic contents,
- Production and characterization of cellulosic superabsobents (Cel-SAP),
- Thermal characterization of cellulosic materials: only Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC).
The presentation was about esterification of cellulose in TBAF/DMSO with vinyl acetate catalyzed by potassium carbonate.
