Hsin-Yu Shih is a professor at the Department of International Business Studies, National Chi Nan University of Taiwan. He received a Ph.D. in business management from National Chiao Tung University of Taiwan in 2003. Before returning to academia, his industrial background includes a decade of experience in e-commerce industry, working in product development and strategy planning at both Taiwanese and Chinese based e-commerce firms. His current research interests are in the areas of Innovation, Technology Management, Technology diffusion, and Patent Analysis.
