Retired as Professor of Physics from The Institute of Mathematical Sciences (IMSc), Chennai, India, in January 2009, after completing nearly three decades of teaching & research service. Served as an Adjunct Professor of Physics at the Chennai Mathematical Institute (CMI), Chennai, during 2009-2017.
