I have worked with fishery, biological and morphological aspects of fishes, elasmobranchs and marine mammals. My current research focuses on understanding "how" the structures of biological systems work, and the impact of organism performance on the functioning of ecosystems, using tools such as ecomorphology and kinematics. My current work focuses on the processes of the skull phenotypic diversity of California sea lion and its mechanisms of adaptation to different environmental situations.
