My main research interests are on the field of environmental chemistry mainly in the fate and biogeochemistry of key pollutants in the environment.
At the present time I'm at CQE of IST focusing my work in biogeochemical cycle of contaminants in Antarctica and in understanding the changes in contaminant, carbon and sulfur cycles in the Arctic melting permafrost due to climate warming.
I'm also starting to look on the ecotoxicological effects of key pollutants input in the polar living organisms
