A psychiatrist involved in clinical practice, teaching, research, mental health advocacy, health policy development, and medical leadership and administration. My current research interest is in trauma and posttraumatic syndromes, as well as the genetics of mental illness. I am also involved in work in the area of children's mental health, general hospital psychiatry, and HIV and mental health.
