Mohamed Esham is a Professor in Agribusiness Management attached to the Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka and currently a Fulbright Scholar at the University of Vermont in the United States. He received a Ph.D. in Agribusiness Management from Tottori University, Japan. He was a post-doctoral fellow at Tottori University Japan, University of Reading, United Kingdom and at the University of Technology Sydney Australia. His research interests include sustainable agriculture, climate change, food security, and entrepreneurship. Prof. Esham has extensively researched in the areas of smallholder agriculture and livelihoods. Prof. Esham has served as the Dean of the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and the Head of the Department of Agribusiness Management at the Sabaragamuwa University.
