Dr. Salinas is Rector of ORT University Mexico. He has a PhD in Educational Psychology from University of Texas at Austin, an MSc in Mental Health Counseling, and a BA in Education and Psychology from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. He has ample experience in higher education in institutions in the U.S., Israel and Mexico, such as the University of Texas, Tel Aviv University, the Monterrey Institute of Technology in Mexico City and Connecticut State University. At Connecticut State University he worked as Associate Professor for over 10 years. His research is focused on cross-cultural psychology and the connection between stereotypes, prejudice and education. His latest book, “Your Child at the Center: A new educational vision for the digital era” was published by Random House in 2013
