Muhammad Ilyas Nadeem is a Lecturer in the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences at Management and Science University (MSU), Malaysia. By profession, he is a Physiotherapist having exposure to academics, research, and clinical domains. He has earned his undergraduate degree in Physiotherapy and a postgraduate degree in Rehabilitation and Molecular Medicine.
His notable research work is on vascular endothelial growth factor gene and associated clinical parameters in obesity and metabolic disorders with exercise and he wants to explore the fundamental effects of exercise therapy as a molecular intervention to prevent systemic diseases. He has authored some peer-reviewed publications in journals of repute. He has also developed an interest in product innovations and it is evident from his patent work on KiSyn W Mat (An exercise tool for patients with cerebellar dysfunction). His future research work aspirations are Exercise Physiology, Neurosciences, Rehabilitation, and Digital Health.
