Mustafa received his B.E. and M.Sc. degrees in Electrical Engineering from MTC, Cairo, Egypt, in 2011 and 2016, respectively. He worked on flexible electronics applications using TFTs in his MSc. He worked as a communications engineer from 2011 to 2013, and from 2013 to 2017, He worked as a TA and RA at MTC. He also joined a startup as an embedded systems and hardware engineer at Integreight (Egyptian Hardware Startup) (2012 to 2017). Mustafa joined the Nanoelectronics Research Lab in Spring 2018 and he is currently pursuing his Ph.D. under the guidance of Prof. Roy. His research interest is generally neuromorphic computing using CMOS and emerging technologies.
