1. Utilize Nano and Material science subject matter expertise to enhance feature sets on the database platform by working with developers, technical and UX designers.
2. Carry out use case studies, comprehensive platform testing, intelligence and market research activities and thorough feature analysis
3. Identify and implement analytics/metrics/KPIs to drive critical business processes and decision-making utilizing data science, web-analytics, and data mining
4. Up-to-date knowledge on scientific breakthroughs that impacts product and business decisions and developments.
5. Market research and marketing activities to carry out updates to platform
6. Engage Nano and material science diaspora on a social and personal level at various events and conferences.
7. Manage social media platforms such as LinkedIn and Facebook pages
8. Writing technical and non-technical posts for both scientific and non-scientific communities
Business Development and Management:
1. Support North & Latin American sales teams in addition to Asia Pacific regions with thorough market intelligence, sales prospect lists, technical presentations, on-site visits & webinars
2. Carry out product training exercises for researchers, librarians, sales and marketing via on-site and webinar based technical presentations.
3. Create user resources such as product guides, white paper, and tutorial videos
4. Technical support for sales & marketing teams to build and grow database position.
5. Utilize workplace management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Slack and Trello for bug reporting and project management.
