Rigas Tsiakiris is currently working as a forester in the Dep. of Forest Management, Forestry Service of Ioannina, Epirus, Greece. He was working until recently as Scientific advisor of the Alternate Minister of Environment and Energy and for the Ministry of Rural Development and Food. He has worked as an independent free launcher researcher at the Forest Research Institute & several Environmental NGO's. He is an external collaborator researcher at the University of Ioannina.
