Coral-Symbiodinium associations in Dongsha Atoll, South China Sea
My research involves understanding the response of coral-Symbiodinium associations in Dongsha Atoll, South China Sea and other locations in high-latitude, marginal and extreme environments in Taiwan, Japan and Korea. I look mainly at the effects of seawater temperature fluctuations (highs and lows) and the limits to the temperature tolerance in corals using molecular and eco-physiological methods.
