SYED ZULKARNAIN SYED IDRUS AL-SAGGOFF is currently an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Applied and Human Sciences (FSGM), Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP). He began his tertiary education in 1995 at North Trafford College (NTC), Manchester, United Kingdom and received a Business & Technology Education Council (BTEC) National Diploma (ND) in Information Technology Applications in 1997. He then pursued for the bachelor degree course at the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology (UMIST), Manchester, United Kingdom and obtained a B.Sc. degree in Information Systems Engineering in 2001. After working for a short stint in private colleges, he pursued for his M.Sc. degree in the field of Computer Engineering and graduated in 2008 from the Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP), Perlis, Malaysia. Finally, he completed his Ph.D. degree in Computer Science and Applications at the Université de Caen Basse-Normandie, Caen, France in 2015 specialising in computer security.
