Vassilis Charmandaris currently works at the Department of Physics, University of Crete, teaching undergraduate and graduate physics courses, as well as doing research in Observational Astrophysics. He is also the Director of the newly founded Institute of Astrophysics at the Foundation for Research and Technology - Hellas.
