About

Professor Chih-Chieh Lin is a Distinguished Professor of Law at National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University and is currently chairing the Financial Ombudsman Institution. Professor Lin is an expert in criminal law, corporate criminal liability, white-collar crimes, and gender and law and is frequently invited by courts to give expert testimony in high-profile financial cases and by various governmental departments to provide professional opinions on financial laws and policies. As a well-recognized scholar, she actively lectures on issues involving finance and criminal law and is a popular lecturer among Taiwan’s academic institutions, governmental departments, and financial services sector. On occasion, she is invited to lecture in universities abroad. Professor Lin holds an SJD and an LL.M from Duke University and an LL.B from National Taiwan University and is admitted to Taiwan Bar.
