Collimatorless SPECT for imaging targeted alpha therapy (TAT)
Supervisor: Youngho SEO and Kai VETTER
Simulated the collimatorless SPECT geometry by Geant4 and study possible alpha-emitting radionuclides (Ra-223, Ac-225 and Th-227) for TAT;
Proposed the weighted robust least squares (WRLS) algorithm to reconstruct source images from the collimatorless projections with extremely low activity;
Built a neural network (UNet + ADMM Net) for better image reconstruction;
Optimized the detection systems and propose novel detection system designs.
