I am a 78 years old biomedical scientist and university professor, with a PhD in behavioral neurophysiology, but I have been very active also in the fields of biomedical informatics, telemedicine and distance education in the health sciences. I have also my own for-profit research, development and educational institution, where I am president and senior researcher. Other activities are: business entrepreneur, science writer for the lay public, private consultant. Married, with two sons.
